Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Umber, made by Kineto-Soft (Ugur Akcelik, Turin, Italy, VAT IT12938420010). By using Umber, you agree to them.
Using Umber
Umber plays generated noise (white, pink, brown and green, and more with Pro) to mask the sounds around you. You choose the color, the volume and the timer. You can stop it, change it or uninstall it at any time.
Playing all night depends on Android and on your phone’s battery settings. Umber shows how to change those settings, but some phones may still stop it, so we can’t promise it will never stop on every phone.
Not a medical device
Umber plays sound to mask noise. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and we make no health claims about it. If you have a health concern, talk to a doctor.
Volume
Keep the volume at a comfortable level, especially with headphones and when you listen for a long time. Make sure you can still hear alarms and the people you need to hear.
Umber Pro
- Umber Pro is a one-time purchase, sold through Google Play at the price shown before you buy. It is not a subscription and never renews.
- Pro is linked to the Google account you bought it with. If you reinstall Umber or get a new phone, tap Restore purchases in Settings.
- Payments and refunds follow Google Play’s terms and refund policy.
- We may change the price for future buyers. That doesn’t affect a purchase you already made.
Your responsibility
Use Umber in a way that is safe and lawful, and at a volume that doesn’t harm you or bother others.
No warranty
Umber is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we don’t promise it will be free of errors or always available, and we aren’t liable for indirect losses from using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll change the date above. If you keep using Umber after a change, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by Italian law.
